Vardhaman Gems is a renowned Gems and Jewelry business situated in Jaipur, India run by a Jain businessman. The Jain community is in the trade since time immemorial and practicing the business ethics while discharging their duties to the customers and expanding their horizons.
Vardhaman Gems is named after Vardhaman, the childhood name of 24th Jain Tirthankara Lord Mahavira. The word Vardhaman literary means evergrowing. hence, the word serves two purposes. The name Vardhaman symbolizes evergrowing or continually developing business and it is also an auspicious name referring to the Jain Lord.

Aidan Rankin and Atul K Shah, Former Professor, London School of Economics have referred the works of Jyoti Kothari, Vardhaman Gems in their book "Jainism and Ethical Finance: A Timeless Business Model" earlier.
I am thankful to both Aidan and my friend Atul K shah for referring Vardhaman Gems, Jaipur in both the books authored by them. Rankin especially referred to in his book that Vardhaman Gems is maintaining traditions viz a viz exploring the world with internet and other means of Technology in the era of globalization.
I am glad that we have started a new venture "Vardhaman Infotech" in 2010 in which my wife is the proprietor. Darshan Kothari, my son, a technology age youngster is looking after the IT Company in Jaipur. As I have mentioned earlier Vardhaman is an auspicious name to honor Lord Mahavira, the Infotech Company is also named after the same.
Vardhaman Infotech is an offshoot of Vardhaman Gems and has the same business ethics and following the basic principles of Jainism to serve the humankind while earning and expanding.
